My name is Derek Reid. I made this website and everything in it – sometimes with the help of very talented collaborators, of course. (I’ve been careful to note my specific role in every single creative work that you see here.) In truth, you could use any number of adjectives to describe my professional bent: editor, designer, writer, producer, it’s all fine. Overall, I would simply say that I’m a creative professional. I love working on my computer. I write a lot. I make great ribs on the BBQ. I’m just doing what I'm meant to do. And it feels good.
